Perhaps the greatest gift we can offer one another is this simple reminder: keep climbing.

Autumn Cotter Bio

Autumn Cotter is an author, poet, and seeker, drawing on a lifetime of curiosity, creativity, and lived experience. After two decades of helping people navigate challenges, relationships, and the complexities of the corporate world, she now channels that experience into creating space for mindful stillness, creative inspiration, and the simple beauty of everyday life. She lives in the mountains among wildflowers and dreams.

As a writer, Cotter has brought many fictional stories to life under different creative names, exploring diverse genres, voices, and perspectives along the way. Each has offered its own kind of escape—for her as a writer and for the readers who have traveled alongside her.

Today, she is cultivating her path as a life and mindfulness coach and blooming herbalist, tending to growth with the wisdom of nature, the heart, and the lessons life has generously taught along the way. Her journey is rooted in more than two decades of curiosity, experimentation, and hands-on learning in herbalism, culinary arts, and nutrition.

A Note from Autumn

You won’t find images of me all over this site, and that’s intentional. I use a creative name because there’s something freeing about stepping outside the familiar and becoming someone else online. But more than that, this space isn’t about me. My own life and experiences may be woven into what I share, but the intention is to create something that belongs to all of us—a place for anyone seeking a moment of clarity, a spark of motivation, or a glimpse of everyday beauty.

Journey into Mindfulness

In the hush of the morning,
where the dew clings to grass like whispered secrets,
I find a space,
a pause,
between the rush of thought and the clamor of time.

Lean into the slowness,
let it wrap around you,
like a soft shawl on a cool evening,
the world slows to a gentle heartbeat,
the air thick with unspoken promises.

In this stillness,
the silence breathes,
a symphony of absence,
where every moment stretches,
each second lingers,
an invitation to listen.

The rustle of leaves,
the distant call of a bird,
echoes of life,
infinitely layered,
but here, in this quiet embrace,
they bloom like wildflowers in the mind.

Savor the silence,
let it fill your cup,
until it overflows with the richness
of simply being,
of thoughts unhurried,
of dreams unshackled from the clock’s cruel grip.

There’s beauty in the unhurried,
in the spaces between breaths,
where the heart learns to dance slowly,
and the soul finds its rhythm,
cradled in the warmth of a moment,
just as it is.
